I purchased a beautiful oval rose pattern stained glass door several years ago. The "stained glass" is actually pealing off!!!

I really loved the door and it added so much beautiful curb appeal to our home, but this is so disappointing, not only for looks, but the door was very expensive.

I would like it replaced Is there any kind of warranty for this, I thought by the price that it would be a high quality product. I have noticed that is no longer displayed at Lowes where I purchased it,just curious if anyone else has had the same problem.I have e-mailed the company, and am waiting for a response.

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $600.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

Pella Cons: Pealing of stained glass door.

Location: Erie, Pennsylvania

I like you have the same door... if you look at the Pella Storm Door flyer is has lifetime warranty...

however having gone back to Lowe's with the serial number (from the inside door frame) they contacted Pella and was told that it only has a 5 year warranty...

and it was purchased in 2009. You can buy a new insert from Pella or Lowe's for additional $80 bucks or so...

Does the new insert the same glass as the original

Unfortunately for you, since you bought it at Lowes you have to go through Lowes for service/warranty. Just like any box store they will fight you like crazy to not do any warranty work/replacement because that doesn't make them any money
